The Process of Perfection
STARTING THE PROCESS
After meeting with your Limatus designer, we start the pattern making process. We combine measurements, posture, and preference to create a pattern made just for you.
During this time, we also place an order for your selected fabric. We work with mills all over the world. Depending on the fabric mill, this can take anywhere from 4-14 days to reach our tailors.
That fabric arrives and the initial pattern is created. Our master tailors review the same measurements, posture, and selected fit style. Once the pattern is approved, it’s linked with your fabric and sent to the fabric cutting team.

CUTTING & SEWING
Once your fabric is cut, it is sent over to our team of tailors.
Our team of tailors has years of combined of experience. Each tailor has been trained by our master tailors to ensure the best quality and consistency in each garment. We are in direct communication every single day with the tailors crafting your one-of-a-kind items. Having a proficient tailoring team ensures a high quality product each time, every time.
From beginning to end, it takes an average of 6-8 days to go through the sewing process. This includes multiple hand stitching elements like the canvassing placed from shoulder line through the lapels and front panel of your jacket. Hand stitching these elements are important to ensure that your canvassing is able to mold to your body over time.
QUALITY CONTROL
Once your garment is completed, it is rechecked to every detail and measurements provided in the initial pattern and design.
If a garment fails for any small discrepancy, it is sent back to the tailors for review and adjustment.
Once the garment passes inspection, it is shipped to our showroom. Shipping from our tailors to our showroom can take up to 5-10 business days.

During your first appointment at Limatus Bespoke, you will be expertly guided through your fabric selection of beautiful luxury wools, cashmeres, mohairs, linens, silks, and Egyptian cottons.
We do not have any pre-made clothing. Your haberdasher takes 34 measurements of your person. From there we make your suits, slacks, shirts, vests, & overcoats according to your unique measurements & your customization selections. We take note of your posture, shoulder slope, and every other intricacy for a perfect fit.
Build It
We are very proud of all the clothing we make. Our tailoring process & standards are created and carried out with design and direction from Savile Row tailors to guarantee the best fit and finish.

Wear It
When your garments are ready, your haberdasher will contact you to set up a time for your fitting. During this fitting your haberdasher will look for any structural alterations or adjustments. Much of how your clothing fits is a matter of preference. We will cover all alterations & adjustments for any reason within 30 days of receiving your new garments.
